5 Stars Great sturdy turner
This is really nice. It also is perfect for fliping and turning and chopping in the pan. With the back made the way it is you can easily put your forefinger near the head and get pressure when your breaking up meat and stuff.
5 Stars Good for cookies
I was tired of nylon and other plastic spatulas and turners. Most of them have a thick edge and are not sufficiently stiff to really scrape something out of a pan. Using a cheap plastic turner to flip hash brown potatoes in my cast iron pan resulted in a melted edge on the turner and bits of potato still stuck to the pan.
This stainless steel turner is the answer to that problem. It is stiff and heavy duty enough to handle pretty much any turning duty in my kitchen. If you need a flexible turner, this is not it. It has a non-slip material inserted at the holding end of the handle that makes it comfortable to hold. However, if you need to “choke up” on the grip and hold it closer to the turner you will be holding the edges of the turned over steel, which is not very comfortable. Being stainless steel, I don’t have to worry about leaving it leaning on the side of my cookware and having it melt. The handle is a good length – long enough to keep your hand away from the cooking surface but no so long as to make using it awkward. I used it to get the cookies off my cookie sheets and it worked okay for that, even if the edge could be just a little bit thinner to get under the cookies.
If you are looking for a stainless steel turner, this is a good one.
5 Stars Bigger than I expected
A well made solid feeling turner but it is quite large. That’s a plus for turning pancakes or omelets etc and I have no problem having a large turner but I just didn’t expect something quite this large. It’s worth the money I paid though, and it looks great as well as seems very strong and well made. I recommend it.

5 Stars **My Favorite Oxo Good Grips Utensil**
I love all the Oxo Good Grips kitchen utensils because they are so comfortable to use. I use this little 9″ whisk a lot for small jobs. It is perfect for mixing up a little thickening for gravy, whisking a few eggs to use in recipes when baking, or for scrambling eggs. A larger whisk won’t fit in measuring cups or small bowls.
Since I have arthritis in my hands, I find the Oxo good grips kitchen utensils to be the most comfortable on the market. One little bit of advice is to rinse the whisk immediately after using to make clean-up easier. I made the mistake of letting food dry on it a couple of times, and it made cleaning it more difficult. I highly recommend this whisk for all cooks.

The title kind of says it all. It has the typical Oxo grip on it, which is nice, but it’s best for making personal servings of dishes/sauces. Not great if you’re trying to make a big batch of anything.

worth getting, assuming you have the money to pay for it, and need of a whisk.
On the other hand, if you don’t need whisks, or cannot afford this one at 7$, you might be better off buying something else.

Not much else to say about it. It’s smaller than the whisks I grew up with, so if you use big bowls, buy the next size up. Otherwise it’s great.
5 Stars The Perfect Whisk
Not only is this my favorite whisk, it is truly well made. While making a custard filling for caramel eclairs (you know those magical eclairs in the Simply Irresistible movie) I found that the balloon shape and the way the wires adapt themselves to the shape of a saucepan was highly desirable.
For one thing, you don’t want any clumping in a sauce or custard and things do tend to get clumpy if you can’t get into the inner edge of a saucepan. With a bit of pressure, you can whisk into every inch of a saucepan. This is not always possible with a plastic whisk which is definitely not as flexible.
The handle on this whisk makes it easy to keep a grip and OXO is known for their ergonomic considerations. I think of it as an almost suede rubber that is not only comfortable to hold, it allows your hand to grip the handle more firmly.
Now the reason the 10 stainless-steel wires are so sturdy is because they are sealed into the base with a clear resin material. This also prevents food from building up and I throw this whisk in the dishwasher without fear.
If you bang the wires against your hand you can see how sturdy this whisk is and I can almost imagine that somewhere in the world someone is using this whisk as a musical instrument.
When the cookbook says “whisk” this is the one I’d highly
recommend.

3 Stars They do ok…
I bought the boards based on their size. I wanted something I could toss in my dishwasher and then just throw into my kitchen drawer. And they do an acceptable job on that.
But, they do have a few draw backs. The little mote thats supposed to catch liquids just isn’t big enough to do anything useful. While the board is pretty good and not slipping thanks to it’s 4 feet on the corners. It’s also not sturdy enough to keep the board from bending on cutting. And you simply can not use this cutting board if you’re using a meat cleaver. The flex in the board doesn’t help with the hard cuts and anything too hard will cut right through your meat and the cutting board. One good cleaver hit, caused a cut, bending the board, then cause a crack along the cut, which is now a huge germ trap.
Also this size really isn’t that useful for cutting unless you clear the board constantly. There is absolutely no way buying this board in the larger available size would withstand any sort of cutting without constant flexing. But this can handle light use for those who do not cook much, which used to be me. But now that I’m in the kitchen much more, I’ll be looking for a larger wooden cutting board.

This is a really great cutting board. The rubber edges keep it from moving around on the cabinet and it’s easy to clean.

Oxo scores again with this cutting board. It is a great size for family food preperation, it stays put and does not wander around the counter top when in use, cleans up well and so far stain resistant. Will purchase another one when I wear this one out.

I’ve had this board for about a month now, and it’s perfect. I have not had any issues with “bounce” that a few other reviewers have mentioned. The board stays put, it cleans up in a jiffy. It even looks good. What’s not to like?

I am in love with these containers. They are efficient to use, easy to clean and even somewhat attractive. They don’t waste space either. It’s not often that you buy a product and feel a little addicted to it, but I do. I have about ten of them and I want more. I keep thinking about other ways to use them, like for spices, crafts, cotton balls, legos, etc. I want MORE!
5 Stars The best storage containers I have found
My wife has used the ones from Target (the Michael Graves design). We like them fine; there’s nothing wrong with them functionally, but we both prefer these OXO containers. We now have one of each size and will not be looking elsewhere. The OXO is perfect.
The design is just excellent. Pop the button out and the lid lifts off easily. The lid seal is easy to remove and clean, although that will not be happening often in my house, because I’m using them to store dry goods only (cereal, chips, nuts, etceteras).
Replace the lid, pop the button in, and the lid seals perfectly and will NOT come off accidentally.
They are stackable and their square shape uses our space very efficiently. Their shape is also better for dumping out cereal into your bowl. As a bonus, they even look nice; you would be happy to have these in plain sight.
In short, like all OXO Good Grips products, this one is great. It’s what you want.

Oxo SteeL Soap Squirting Palm Brush
I have tried several different scrub brushes for dishes and pots and pans, but this one is by far the best! It is handy, easy to use and grasp, and does not leak soap. I like that it is small and does not take up a lot of room. My daughter with five children got me one, so I knew if she liked it, it was well worth a try! Last time I looked for one in the grocery, I could not find it, so she suggested Amazon, and there it was. I got the refills for it also because I do not want to be without!!!

I stopped using sponges when I started having my own kitchens. These aren’t as strong as other oxo scrubbers I have used, but I love the fact that they are changable so you can keep buying these instead of an entirely new scrubber. $ saver. Keep them clean and you won’t have to replace them that often.
4 Stars Good cleaners
I bought these as a refill for the wrong head, so I then had to buy the correct head, but once I got that mistake taken care of, I was finally able to use them. I have found them to be very good at cleaning, and the packaging says you can use them on non-stick surfaces—who knows if that is smart or not. I will be buying more of them as they seem a bit better than the heads that are just sponge.
