Bought this for my wife for her birthday. She thinks it is great. Saves her a lot of time. I was a little surprised that it is made out of clear plastic – probably Lexan as it is quite tough. She has used it mostly for cookie dough and hasn’t had a problem. I am glad I got this for her. We have a KitchenAide K5SS mixer that is almost 23 years old. We have owned the New Metro Design beater blade almost a month.

I too put my Kitchenaide blade in the dishwasher and the paint began to peel off. And replacements seemed too expensive. Then this lovely beater blade came into my life. It does everything it’s supposed to and wasn’t all that dear. Fits my Artisan mixer perfectly and does a great job of scraping the sides of the bowl – a problem with the old one. And this one goes into the dishwasher without a complaint! Ah, life is good.

I recently needed to replace my beater blade because the paint was chipping on it. I’d had mine for many years and had abused it by sticking it in the dishwasher though you’re not supposed to. I saw this item reviewed on Slashfood and thought I’d give it a try. I particularly loved the pink! I’m so glad I tried this product. I’ve made several cakes now and have not had to scrape down the sides. It even gets the dimple in the bottom of the bowl which my kitchen aid beater blade never got! On top of that, it’s dishwasher safe and made of hard plastic so it will never chip paint.
In short, I LOVE it!

I got this for my dad for his christmas present and it’s exactly what he needed. He used to have mugs all over the counter but now they are all together on this tree beside the coffee maker. I was really surpised how heavy it was (good thing!) and the finsh went really well with the rest of our kitchen.

5 Stars Reusable Straws
I bought some acrylic straws one time at Wal-Mart thinking it would probably be a waste – I was planning on using them instead of regular straws and in the back of my mind I thought they would eventually sit at the back of the drawer. Boy was I wrong… turns out – these acrylic straws work very well in long drinking cups and also are simply fantastic for smoothies!! Not to mention they are colorful and cheery. I purchased two more packs to make sure I have plenty of these on hand. They also go over very good at parties with frozen adult drinks! Cheers!

This can opener is a must have for every kitchen!!!!!!! It is without a doubt the best can opener you will ever buy. It is fun to use. Love the little magnet that holds the lid. No more having to reach into the can to pull the lid out. Really like the way the opener locks when you have it placed correctly on the can. Highly recommend this GREAT can opener. I bought this can opener after reading superlative reviews from Cooks Illustrated. It looks cool, but it does not open anything. Not a single can. After attaching to can, the can does not move as you twist the mechanism. Ended up going to BB@Beyond and bought less expensive Oxo which works fine.
